“From the mill to the tablet, the 4.0 mill in the countryside of Barletta”, is the title of the RaiNews interview with Michele Vallarella and Riccardo Vallarella, who explain the transition from an ancient traditional mill (from generation to generation since 1920) to a industry 4.0. The plant was moved from the center of the city of Andria to the countryside of Barletta, to house the latest generation machinery designed by the Ferri brothers, with Alfa Laval technology. The whole production process is managed through an interactive touch screen, which simplifies the interventions of the staff and manages meticulously parameters such as the temperature, the quantity of the product, the processing time and above all manages to memorize all the data necessary in order to have a safe and reliable traceability of the product, necessary for Made in Italy.
